Three days of street food, music, and tradition in the heart of Raffadali
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
Coci e Mangia โ Street Food Festival is one of the most anticipated summer gastronomic events in Raffadali, a town in the Agrigento hinterland known for its rural heritage and prized almonds. For three days, the town center, particularly Piazza Progresso in the area adjacent to the Mother Church, transforms into a large open-air village of taste, where traditional specialties meet live music and entertainment.
The heart of the festival lies in its food stalls: about twenty local businesses present traditional Raffadali and Sicilian dishes, prepared on the spot and designed to be enjoyed while strolling among the stands. Street food thus becomes a tasting journey that tells the story of the flavors of the province of Agrigento, from baked goods to almond-based sweets, a symbolic identity of the town.
The event is not just about food: every evening features concerts, street bands, group dancing, and DJ sets that animate the squares until late at night. The opening is marked by the lighting of the illuminations, while the following days feature alternating bands, street artists, and dance evenings that involve families, young people, and visitors from neighboring towns.
Coci e Mangia was born from the collaboration between the ANAS Association, the CNA, and the Municipal Administration of Raffadali, with the goal of promoting the local economy, small businesses, and local craftsmanship. The artistic direction of recent editions has been entrusted to Giovanni Gentile.
Included in the summer calendar of the Agrigento area, the festival is an opportunity to discover Raffadali and its flavors in a festive atmosphere that captures the best of Sicilian conviviality.
The 2026 edition of Coci e Mangia โ Street Food Festival is scheduled in Raffadali during the summer period, usually in July. The precise dates and the 2026 program have not yet been officially communicated by the organizers: the programming page indicates generally July 2026, without a detailed calendar. The usual format will be confirmed with about twenty food stalls in Piazza Progresso, evenings of live music, and the promotion of typical Raffadali products. Information will be updated as soon as ANAS, the CNA, and the Municipality of Raffadali announce the final program.
