Cinema under the Stars is the open-air film festival that transforms the Parterre—the renovated green space in the center of San Giuliano Terme—into a grand cinematic arena every summer. Promoted by the Municipality of San Giuliano Terme, in the province of Pisa, and programmed by the historic Cinema Arsenale, the event offers ten completely free evenings, providing a wonderful opportunity to gather outdoors during the warm July nights.

The lineup is designed to satisfy every type of viewer: from major auteur films and beloved Italian comedies to animated screenings dedicated to children and families. The choice of the Parterre is no coincidence: this space, returned to the public after a major redevelopment project, has become a landmark of the local summer. The festival is part of the broader Estate Sangiulianese (Sangiulianese Summer) calendar, a program of cultural and entertainment events through which the Municipality enlivens the area during the summer months.
