The return of cinema to Nervi

The Cinema Estivo ai Parchi di Nervi marks a return awaited for decades: after 26 years, the summer arena of the Parchi di Nervi, in Genoa, reopens its doors to the big screen, renewing the historic tradition of "cinema in the Rose Garden". The Parchi di Nervi, with their gardens overlooking the sea and the famous Anita Garibaldi promenade, are one of the most beloved spots in the eastern part of Genoa: returning to watch an outdoor film in this setting is an experience that combines culture and landscape beauty.

A program for everyone

From August 10th to September 18th, the festival offers a different film every evening, alternating the best titles of the latest film season with previews and great classics. Spectators can choose from comedies, art-house films, animation for families, and award-winning movies, in a lineup designed to please every type of audience.

September's musical evenings

In September, the festival dedicates a series of musical evenings to great concert films and music biopics, from Bohemian Rhapsody to Rocketman, from Blinded by the Light to Grease. A tribute to the link between cinema and music that beautifully concludes the season, also thanks to the collaboration with the Fondazione Teatro Carlo Felice.

A new chapter for the Parks

The festival, entrusted to Circuito Cinema Genova with the direction of Alessandro Giacobbe and the support of the Municipality of Genoa, is part of a broader cultural relaunch project for the Parchi di Nervi. An initiative that returns one of the city's most precious spaces to the public, bringing audiences back among the stars and centuries-old trees of eastern Genoa.
