Sinatra's Ligurian Roots
Hello Frank! is the music festival of Lumarzo, a municipality in the hinterland of the metropolitan city of Genoa, which celebrates the bond between the village and Frank Sinatra. The great American singer's mother, Natalina "Dolly" Garaventa, was actually born in the hamlet of Rossi di Lumarzo before emigrating to Hoboken, New Jersey.
Three Days of Music
The festival offers concerts and tributes dedicated to Sinatra and the great swing performers, particularly from the Genoese school. The evenings take place between the municipal square of Lumarzo and the hamlet of Rossi, accompanied by moments of gastronomic hospitality with local products.
