The Madonna dei Duluri
The Patronal Festival of Our Lady of Sorrows is the most important event in Uscio, a town in the Tigullio hinterland within the Metropolitan City of Genoa. Affectionately known as the festival of the «Madonna dei Duluri», it has over a hundred years of history and celebrates the community's patron saint in mid-September.
Between Devotion and Popular Festival
The program intertwines religious moments — with the procession and celebrations in honor of Our Lady of Sorrows — with the popular dimension, featuring food stalls and music. The festival involves the entire community and is organized by the «Madonna dei Duluri» Celebration Committee, together with the Municipality of Uscio, the Pro Loco, and the Parish of Sant'Ambrogio.

The festival is recognized among the Authentic Ligurian Events, a brand that promotes events most rooted in the territory's tradition. An opportunity to discover Uscio, also known for its historic bell and tower clock factory, and to experience the authentic atmosphere of the patronal festivals of the Genoese hinterland.
Festa dell'Addolorata — edition 2026
For 2026, the patronal festival is expected in mid-September, in line with recent editions which have placed it between the second and third week of the month.
The program will follow the traditional structure, with the procession and celebrations dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows, alongside food stalls and musical interludes. The event is recognized as an Authentic Ligurian Event 2026; precise dates will be announced by the celebration committee.
