Four days of lectures, meetings and shows in the village of Camogli
The Festival della Comunicazione is one of the most important Italian cultural events dedicated to thought, word, and communication in all its forms. It is held in Camogli, a seaside village in the Golfo Paradiso in the province of Genoa, and every year it transforms the city's squares, theaters, and spaces into venues for discussion and reflection.
The festival revolves around a theme that changes from edition to edition, addressed by leading speakers: philosophers, writers, scientists, journalists, economists, artists, and protagonists of Italian and international cultural life. Master lectures, dialogues, shows, and meetings follow one another in a dense and free program, designed for a broad and curious audience.
Conceived and directed by Rosangela Bonsignorio and Danco Singer, the festival has hosted some of the most authoritative names in the cultural scene over the years. Each edition also awards the Premio Comunicazione (Communication Award), a recognition for a personality who has distinguished themselves in the field of culture and communication.
The choice of Camogli is no coincidence: the beauty of the village, with its colorful houses overlooking the small harbor, offers a suggestive backdrop that enhances the value of the meetings. The Festival della Comunicazione thus combines the intellectual dimension with the experiential one, making Liguria a reference point for late-summer cultural debate.
The 2026 edition, the 13th, of the Festival della Comunicazione has the theme Courage and takes place from September 10 to 13 in Camogli. Directed by Rosangela Bonsignorio and Danco Singer, the festival offers four days of master lectures, dialogues, meetings, and shows. The opening is entrusted to a lecture by Paolo Mieli, while the 2026 Premio Comunicazione is awarded to writer Stefania Auci. The detailed program with all guests is published on the official website.
The complete schedule of events and guests is published on the festival's official website.
Camogli is served by the train station on the GenoaโLa Spezia line. By car from the Recco (A12) motorway exit; during the festival, train travel is recommended due to limited parking availability.
The meetings are free, in many cases with recommended booking. The complete program and access procedures are published on the official website.
