The heart of the festival is a true merenda-cena (an early dinner) celebrating Tuscan flavors. The absolute star is the grilled meat, accompanied by products from local businesses: past editions have featured meats from the F.lli Barnini butcher shop, mushrooms from Montaione Tartufi, bread from the Antico Forno, and excellent wine from Montaione's farms. Where and when

How to get there
By car: Montaione can be reached from the FI-PI-LI highway (exit towards Valdelsa) or from the Regional Road 429. By train: the reference stations are Castelfiorentino or Empoli, followed by a bus connection. The historic center is pedestrianized: it is recommended to park in the areas outside the village.
