About Spring Festival

Every year, the Spring Festival brings the historic center of Cepagatti, in the province of Pescara, to life with two days dedicated to craftsmanship, vibrant colors, and local traditions. Organized by the Pro Loco Cepagatti, the event features hobbyist and artisan markets, colorful installations, murals that tell the story of the town's identity, street food, local gastronomic specialties, live evening music, and entertainment for children. It is a blend of music, flavors, and stories designed to help you rediscover Cepagatti in a whole new way.

The Cepagatti Spring Festival

Every spring, the historic center of Cepagatti, a town in the province of Pescara, Abruzzo, transforms into an open-air stage for the Spring Festival. Organized by the Pro Loco Cepagatti, the event began in 2024 and, in just a few editions, has become one of the most anticipated dates on the town's spring calendar, attracting families, curious visitors, and guests from neighboring towns.

A village that tells its story

The heart of the festival lies in the streets and squares of the historic center, brought to life by hobbyist and artisan markets, stalls featuring local products, and colorful installations that decorate the village. One of the most distinctive features is the mural trail, which narrates the identity and history of Cepagatti: street art works scattered throughout the alleys, highlighted during the festival by guided tours that reveal their meaning and connection to the community.

Taste and tradition

A major focus is placed on food and wine, with street food and stands offering typical Abruzzese specialties. The scents and flavors of local cuisine fill the streets, ranging from traditional dishes to more informal street-food options, accompanying visitors throughout both days.

Music, fashion, and entertainment

In the evening, the village lights up with live music: concerts and dance parties turn the squares into lively celebration spots until late. There is also the Ludolandia children's area, dedicated to play and imagination, street performer shows, and, in recent editions, a fashion show showcasing local style and creativity.

A festival for the whole town

The Spring Festival is much more than just a market: it is an opportunity to rediscover Cepagatti through its colors, music, flavors, and stories. An event that combines the promotion of the historic center's artistic heritage with popular conviviality, in the true Abruzzese spirit.
