There is only one, strictly enforced rule: total white. Outfits, tablecloths, chairs, tableware, centerpieces, and decorations must be strictly white, so that the square lights up with a uniform whiteness as evening falls.

The event adopts the international formula of the dîner en blanc, the white dinner born in Paris and spread to dozens of cities worldwide, and brings it into the festive and welcoming soul of the Salento area near Taranto.
