The Castellammare Art Music Week is a multidisciplinary festival that brings summer to life in Castellammare del Golfo, a stunning seaside town in the province of Trapani overlooking the gulf of the same name in the heart of western Sicily. The festival brings together live music, art, culture, sports, nature-based experiences, and food and wine tours, spread across the picturesque Porto Nuovo and the expansive Playa beach, two of the town's most iconic landmarks.

The musical heart of the Art Music Week alternates between concerts by major Italian stars and evenings dedicated to international electronic music, gathered under the banner of the Unlocked Music Festival, which inspired the event. Some of the most sought-after names in the global house and techno scene have already performed on the seaside stage, while the program is enriched with signature events designed to appeal to a broad and diverse audience.
More than just concerts: sports and experiences on the gulf
Alongside the musical programming, the Castellammare Art Music Week offers a rich array of experiential activities designed to help visitors explore the area: beach volleyball and beach tennis, sailing and catamaran excursions, water sports such as e-foil, SUP, and wing foil, e-bike tours, and nature hikes, including visits to the caves of Monte Inici. The village on the Playa, with its relaxation, food, and drink areas, keeps the energy going from daytime through to the evening concerts.

The event maintains its multidisciplinary formula, combining music, art, culture, sports, and nature between the Porto Nuovo and the Playa of Castellammare del Golfo.
Concerts and the Unlocked Music Festival
The opening night on 24 July features a concert by Antonello Venditti, stopping by the Gulf with his "Daje! Live Summer 2026" tour. 25 July marks the return of the Unlocked Music Festival, a grand finale dedicated to electronic music with an international line-up featuring Marco Carola, Ilario Alicante, and Frank Storm. The days are rounded out by experiential activities, sports, and cultural events spread between the sea and the town.

Getting there
Castellammare del Golfo can be reached by car via the A29 Palermo-Mazara del Vallo motorway, taking the Castellammare del Golfo exit. The nearest airport is Trapani-Birgi (Vincenzo Florio), followed by Palermo-Punta Raisi. The Castellammare del Golfo-Alcamo train station is a few kilometres from the town centre.
Location
The main events are held at the Porto Nuovo and on the Playa beach; concerts and activities are also spread across the historic centre and areas overlooking the gulf.
Tickets
Concerts by major artists and the Unlocked Music Festival nights are ticketed events, with tickets available through official pre-sale channels (Ticketone for concerts, dedicated platforms for electronic nights). Many village activities and events held throughout the town are free to access.
