The local food and wine market exhibition in Pralormo
Cascine in Piazza is a market exhibition dedicated to local food and wine excellence that transforms the center of Pralormo, a small town in the province of Turin, into a showcase of Piedmontese flavors every spring. The initiative takes place in conjunction with Messer Tulipano, the famous blooming of over one hundred thousand tulips and daffodils that colors the park of the Castello di Pralormo, attracting thousands of visitors drawn by the vibrant colors of the bulbs and the aromas of local products.
Along the charming route connecting the Castello di Pralormo to Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, passing through Via Umberto I, local farms and small producers set up their stalls, offering typical zero-kilometer products. Among the specialties on sale are honey, jams and preserves, heritage corn, saffron stigmas, cured meats and sausages, mountain cheeses, extra virgin olive oil, wine, and craft beer. The market is a precious opportunity to learn about the work of local farms and to purchase authentic products directly from the producers.
The convivial heart of the event is the refreshment area managed by the Pro Loco di Pralormo, which offers a traditional Piedmontese zero-kilometer menu: appetizers with filzetta salami, rosemary lard, tometta cheese, tomino cheese with honey and hazelnuts, agnolotti pasta with meat sauce, and roasted pork loin, followed by desserts like panna cotta. A delicious stop that completes the visit between the stalls and the blooming tulips.
Thanks to free admission and the setting of the village, Cascine in Piazza is an ideal destination for a spring outing with family or friends. The proximity to Messer Tulipano allows visitors to combine a walk in the flowery park of the Castle with the discovery of the flavors of the farms, in a day that tells the story of the rural and gastronomic identity of this corner of the Piedmont Region. A shuttle service from the parking lots facilitates access to the center on days with higher attendance.
Cascine in Piazza is held on selected days between late March and April, with continuous hours from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, as part of the Messer Tulipano calendar at the Castello di Pralormo.

Pralormo is located in the province of Turin, along the road connecting the regional capital to the Asti area. By car, it can be reached from the A6 Turin-Savona motorway (Carmagnola exit) or the A21; on event days, a shuttle service from the parking lots to the center is available.
The market exhibition is open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Admission to Cascine in Piazza is free. Visiting the park of the Castello di Pralormo for Messer Tulipano requires a separate paid ticket.
We recommend visiting the market and the tulip park on the same day and wearing comfortable shoes for the walk between the Castle and the square.
