The Carnival that lights up Casamicciola Terme

On the island of Ischia, in the province of Naples, Carnival is a deeply felt and highly anticipated tradition. In Casamicciola Terme, the main event takes place on Shrove Tuesday, when Piazza Marina—the square overlooking the marina and the heart of town life—becomes a large open-air party space. The event is promoted by the Municipality of Casamicciola Terme in collaboration with AMCA (Azienda Multiservizi Casamicciola), the in-house company that manages municipal events.

A celebration designed for children and families

The Casamicciola Carnival is, above all, a children's Carnival: an afternoon of fun, color, and lightheartedness aimed at families on the island.
