Calici sotto le Stelle is a food and wine festival that brings the best of Apulian wine to the seaside at Guna Beach in Brindisi, Puglia. Set in Contrada Apani, near the Torre Guaceto reserve, the event transforms warm August nights into a journey of taste, conviviality, and great music. Guests can stroll between winery stalls with a glass in hand, sample dishes from local producers, and enjoy live bands with their feet almost in the sand.
Wine, food, and local territory
The heart of the event lies in the tastings: numerous wineries from Puglia and beyond animate the evenings, including Cantine San Marzano, Tormaresca, L'Astore, Masciullo, Pietraventosa, Risveglio Agricolo, Scarano, Lu Spada, Giustini, La Cattiva, Felline, and Schola Sarmenti, with a special guest from Alto Adige, Cantina Kaltern, and the bitter notes of Cardus, the artichoke liqueur from Infuseria Brindisina. Accompanying the wines are gastronomic offerings from local farms, including cheeses, fresh pasta, and gourmet specialties prepared for the occasion: an authentic story of the cuisine of Brindisi and its province.
Music under the stars
Each evening, the program continues with live music and DJ sets, creating a perfect blend of gastronomy and nightlife. The most evocative moment is the Night of San Lorenzo on August 10th, when the beach fills with people waiting for shooting stars, glass in hand. It is an appointment designed for those who want to experience the Brindisi summer in a unique way, surrounded by flavors, the sea, and live sounds.
A local Brindisi event
Calici sotto le Stelle was born from the initiative of local companies and entrepreneurs united in promoting local products and producers. With free admission, the festival is open to everyone and has established itself as one of the most anticipated summer events on the coast of the Municipality of Brindisi, the capital of the homonymous Apulian province.

How to get there
Guna Beach can be reached by car from the SS16 road heading north from Brindisi; it is recommended to arrive early on peak nights, especially during the Night of San Lorenzo.
