Every year, coinciding with the night of San Lorenzo, the historic winery opens its Contessa Entellina estate, in the Province of Palermo, to welcome wine lovers among illuminated vineyards, gardens, and olive groves. The initiative is part of the national Calici di Stelle circuit promoted by the Movimento Turismo del Vino, but at Donnafugata, it takes on a spectacular and deeply distinctive dimension.

An immersive experience of art and tasting

The evening is more than just a tasting: it is an experiential journey where the audience takes center stage. The open-air tasting stations allow guests to sample a selection of the winery's most famous labels, including historic vintages and iconic wines, while the hilly landscape provides a natural backdrop for artistic performances, live music, video mapping, and light installations. Past editions have featured original reinterpretations of the theme: from the Gran Ballo di Donnafugata, inspired by the atmosphere of 19th-century Sicily and The Leopard (Il Gattopardo), to nights dedicated to contemporary dance.
