The cycle tourism festival in Piedmont, held at Cascina Le Vallere in Moncalieri
Bike Experience - Cycle Tourism Festival is the great celebration of two wheels held at Cascina Le Vallere in Moncalieri, in the Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont. Hosted in the green spaces that serve as the headquarters for the Management Body of the Piedmontese Po Protected Areas, along the river, the festival is now considered the third most important cycle tourism event in Italy and the largest in the region.
Founded in 2022 by the Torino Bike Experience Association, the event has grown with each edition: from just a few brands at the beginning to over 50 exhibitors and more than 200 brands present, with attendance nearing 10,000 over the weekend. The festival was created to promote cycle tourism as a form of slow, sustainable, and territory-friendly travel, capable of showcasing the Turin hills, the Po river, and the protected areas surrounding Moncalieri.
The formula combines sport, culture, environment, and gastronomy in a rich program suitable for everyone:
Alongside the classic events, each edition offers new features that broaden the festival's scope: vintage bike rides in period clothing, screenings of cycle films and travel documentaries, itineraries linked to the UNESCO-recognized Po Hill, and a growing focus on sustainability with recycling and upcycling initiatives. The inclusion of trekking, walking, and wellness activities has transformed Bike Experience into a true outdoor festival.
Free and designed for families, enthusiasts, and beginners, Bike Experience is much more than an industry trade fair: it is an opportunity to rediscover Moncalieri and Piedmont from a different perspective—that of the bicycle and slow mobility—during a spring weekend dedicated to the slow discovery of the territory.
