Bema's Summer Festival

The Bemina Festival is the summer festival that enlivens the village of Bema every second Sunday of August. Bema is a small municipality in Valtellina, in the province of Sondrio, nestled within the Orobie Valtellinesi Park. It's a day that involves the entire town, combining religious observance with a convivial and festive atmosphere.

Between Faith and Conviviality

The day begins with participation in Holy Mass and continues with lunch and dinner featuring typical Valtellina products, prepared by Pro Loco volunteers. The delicious mountain cuisine is the common thread of a festival that brings together residents, returning emigrants, and visitors.

Games, Exhibitions, and Music

Alongside the gastronomy, the program includes games, exhibitions, and musical entertainment that liven up the village streets throughout the day. It's a simple and familiar atmosphere, typical of festivals in small alpine villages, where everything is managed by the community.

Bema and the Orobic Alps

Organized by Pro Loco Bema, active since 1984 to promote the village and its territory, the Bemina Festival is one of the events that mark the village's year. It's an opportunity to discover a little-known and authentic corner of Valtellina, in the heart of the Orobie Park, in the province of Sondrio.
