A festival that lights up the Bellizzi summer

Some events are created just to fill a calendar, while others are born to bring a community to life: the Bellizzi Summer Fest clearly belongs to the latter. For four consecutive nights, the Piazza Mercato parking lot on Via Pescara transforms into a true town square, with a stage on one side, food stalls on the other, and the local community—neighbors and visitors from across the Piana del Sele—mingling in between. Where and when

The event takes place in the Municipality of Bellizzi, in the Province of Salerno, Campania, from August 6th to 9th, 2026. Held from Thursday to Sunday in the heart of the summer holidays, when the Piana del Sele fills with vacationers heading toward the Tyrrhenian coast, the chosen venue is the large weekly market square, which is easily accessible and perfectly suited for both concert-goers and street food lovers.

The music: four nights, many styles

The 2026 musical program was curated to engage diverse audiences, alternating between live bands, singer-songwriters, and DJ sets. The stage will feature:

• the Moja Band, with an opening set by Frankie One;
• the rhythms of Vienteterra;
• a performance by Alessandra Racioppi with Carlo Gravina and Rosario Barbarulo;
• a massive DJ set featuring Marco Vitolo, Kiko Navarro, Luca Vee DJs, and Andrew Dee Light Jay;
• a grand finale with the 838 Tribute Band.

The lineup spans from popular, danceable hits to club sounds, without forgetting local voices. This variety makes the festival perfect for families with children as well as young people looking for a meeting point on these August nights.

Street food and flavors of the Piana del Sele

Next to the stage, you will find the gastronomic area featuring street food and dishes inspired by Campanian cuisine. We are in one of the most fertile agricultural areas of Southern Italy, home to Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP, fresh vegetables from the Piana del Sele, and traditional baked goods from Salerno. Here, street food becomes the most immediate way to taste local specialties while sitting at outdoor tables as the music plays on.

Who organizes it

The festival is promoted by the Settecentomila Metriquadri Association, an organization active in the Battipaglia and Bellizzi area known for its community engagement, with the patronage of the Municipality of Bellizzi. The stated goal goes beyond entertainment: to promote local businesses, create a meeting point for culture, gastronomy, and social interaction, and strengthen the sense of community through a free event open to everyone.

Bellizzi is a young municipality, having gained its autonomy only at the end of the 20th century, and it has built its identity around initiatives like this.
