The format features an 18-hole competition divided into categories, with Gross, Net, Senior, and Ladies rankings, alongside the essential special Nearest to the Pin and Longest Drive contests that add an extra touch of challenge.
What makes the event unique is its connection to beer, as the name suggests: between the 9th and 10th holes, participants find a refreshment station with sausages and beer, while the post-game awards ceremony is followed by the classic dinner featuring ribs and beer provided by the sponsors. 2026 Edition
The 2026 Beer Festival Golf Cup took place on May 18 at the Dolomiti Golf Club in Sarnonico, on a sun-drenched day. Among the winners, Lukas Holzner achieved the best Gross score (73 strokes) and won the men's Longest Drive, while Noemi Cseledi won the women's Longest Drive. In the Nearest to the Pin contests, Paolo Massazza and Christof Gasser stood out; Anita Thoeni won the Ladies category (33 points) and Massazza the Seniors (36 points). The day concluded with the traditional dinner featuring ribs and beer provided by the sponsors.
