Beat on the Street: live music in the heart of Naturns

Beat on the Street is the open-air concert series that brings energy to the center of Naturns (Naturno), a town in the Vinschgau Valley in the province of Bolzano, Trentino-South Tyrol, every summer. For four consecutive Wednesdays in August, Piazza Burggräfler transforms into an open-air stage where bands and soloists perform from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, treating residents and the many visitors to the Merano area to evenings of free live music.

A summer highlight in the Burgraviato

Organized by the Naturns Tourist Association (Tourismusgenossenschaft Naturns), the event is part of the rich summer calendar of the Merano region, a land of vineyards, apple orchards, and mountain trails. The formula is simple and successful: four Wednesday evenings, live music under the starry sky, and the chance to enjoy the square in good company, whether over an aperitif or a stroll through the historic town center.

The program

Each evening features a different lineup, with a range of genres spanning from pop to rock, cover repertoires, and lighter sounds perfect for a relaxed evening outdoors. Past editions have featured a mix of local South Tyrolean groups and guest musicians, turning the square into a meeting point for families, young people, and tourists alike.
