The summer festival in Battifollo, featuring music, local cuisine by the Pro Loco, and an open-air disco under the stars of the Valle Mongia.
Battifest is the main summer event in Battifollo, a small municipality in the Valle Mongia nestled in the hills of the upper Langa, in the province of Cuneo, in the heart of Piedmont. Organized with passion by the Pro Loco of Battifollo, the event transforms the village sports field into a large festive space, attracting residents and visitors from neighboring villages in the province of Cuneo.
The Battifest formula combines three simple, tried-and-tested ingredients: great music, authentic food, and a shared desire to have a good time. The evenings begin with dinner prepared by Pro Loco volunteers, who serve festival specialties such as pizza, rostelle, porchetta, sausage, burgers, and fries, accompanied by a well-stocked bar serving beer, wine, cocktails, and soft drinks. As night falls, the party shifts gears and turns into an authentic open-air disco, keeping the younger crowd dancing until late.
Originally a single-evening event, Battifest has become an increasingly anticipated date over the years. The festival is designed to be welcoming and familiar: families and groups of friends join for dinner, while the evening portion mainly attracts the area's younger generations. The event takes place in the days leading up to the night of San Lorenzo, providing a precious moment of community gathering for a mountain village like Battifollo.
Battifest is part of a rich summer calendar that the Pro Loco and the Municipality of Battifollo dedicate to the community, including gastronomic walks, the feast of Sant'Anna, the Ferragosto polenta party, and the autumn chestnut festival. Visiting Battifest is also an opportunity to discover the Valle Mongia, an authentic and lesser-known corner of the Cuneo area, where village traditions and the hospitality of the Pro Loco continue to be the true engine of summer life.
For 2026, Battifest is doubling up: the summer festival of Battifollo will take place over two evenings, Friday, July 31, and Saturday, August 1, at the village sports field. The Pro Loco of Battifollo announces major innovations compared to previous editions and confirms the Saturday night open-air disco, the most anticipated moment for the area's younger generations. As per tradition, the evenings combine music, food prepared by volunteers, and a well-stocked bar.
The detailed program and musical guests will be announced by the Pro Loco in the weeks leading up to the event via their official and social media channels.
Battifest is held at the sports field in Battifollo (CN), in the Valle Mongia, in the upper Langa of Cuneo.
