Artisticamente, the celebration of culture in the heart of Piobesi Torinese
Every year, as spring reaches its peak, the Castle of Piobesi Torinese opens its doors and grounds to host Artisticamente, a widespread cultural festival that has become one of the most anticipated events in this town in the province of Turin, Piedmont. For four days, the village transforms into a large open-air laboratory where theatre, music, cinema, art, and science engage in a dialogue around a common thread that changes with every edition.
A different theme every year
The strength of Artisticamente lies in its ability to reinvent itself. Each edition chooses a theme that becomes the heart of performances, exhibitions, meetings, and activities: past journeys have included Japan, and in 2026 the focus is on the animal world, biodiversity, and the relationship between humans, animals, and the environment. It is a way to address important topics with a light touch, blending entertainment, education, and participation.
A collective and free event
Artisticamente is a festival deeply rooted in the community: its realization is supported by the Municipality of Piobesi Torinese, the municipal library, local schools, associations, and local volunteers. Schools, in particular, play a leading role with end-of-year performances, exhibitions, and competitions. All activities are free: for workshops with limited capacity, booking is required by contacting the municipal library.

Artisticamente — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Artisticamente, the ninth, chose the theme "A journey into the animal world", focusing on biodiversity, animal awareness, and the concept of One Health, which explores the connection between human, animal, and environmental health. From May 21 to 24, the Castle of Piobesi Torinese and its park hosted theatrical performances, open-air cinema, concerts, scientific and creative workshops, meetings with naturalists, and dog training demonstrations. All activities were free, with mandatory booking for limited-capacity workshops, and a street food area was set up to accompany the days.

Thursday, May 21 — Opening night
- "Dinner with a theft… crime is served!" — dinner theatre show with the Teatrando company, blending mystery and conviviality.
Friday, May 22
- "In song of voices" — end-of-year show by the Piobesi Primary School.
- "Wolves do not howl at the moon" — meeting with Luca Giunti, park ranger and naturalist.
Saturday, May 23 — from 10:00 AM
- Exhibitions, workshops, and immersive activities: "Journey into the savannah: a day as a lion", "The miniature universe", clay workshops, butterflies, and totem animals.
- Wellness activities: pranayama and green mindfulness.
- In the evening: choral concert "Between paws and staves" and screening of the film "Big Miracle".
Sunday, May 24
- School exhibitions, bee workshop, book market, and climb to the Castle Tower.
- Dog training demonstrations: agility, disc dog, and dog dance.
- 5:00 PM — presentation of the "Hedgehog Hospital" project with Massimo Vacchetta and Maria Teresa Capucchio.
- Award ceremony for the "Class Writers" competition, "Jungle Joke" show, and final concert by the Filarmonica Piobesina.

Where

How to get there
Piobesi Torinese is located south of Turin and is easily reachable by car from the city in about 25-30 minutes. The town is also served by suburban public transport connecting the Turin metropolitan area.
