Music and art in the village
Caino is one of the most picturesque hamlets of Vercana, a municipality on the Upper Lake Como. For one evening at the beginning of summer, the village transforms into an open-air stage, where the elegant notes of a solo violinist blend with the works of local artists displayed among the houses. The event, titled Arte, Vino e Violino, is curated by Pro Loco Vercana together with the Municipality.
Tastings and atmosphere
The evening is designed in two complementary moments: a first, more intimate one, with an aperitif and tasting of selected wines paired with local specialties, accessible by reservation; and a broader evening opening, where music and art accompany the stroll through the alleys. To easily reach the village, a free shuttle service is provided from the Vercana church square.
Vercana and the Upper Lake
Vercana is a small municipality in the province of Como, in Lombardy, overlooking the upper part of the lake above Domaso. The event is part of the project Upper Lake Como: a heritage of flavors, nature, stories, and traditions, promoted with the support of Regione Lombardia, which networks the events of the municipalities of the upper Lario region.
Arte, Vino e Violino — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Arte, Vino e Violino takes place on Saturday, June 6, in the hamlet of Caino. The evening is divided into two time slots: from 6:00 PM, a more exclusive experience with an aperitif and tasting of selected wines paired with local specialties, accessible by reservation; from 8:30 PM, the evening opening, with violin music and works by local artists among the village alleys. Pro Loco Vercana and the Municipality are providing a free shuttle service from the Vercana church square to Caino.
