As the name suggests, it is the appointment that closes the long cycle of summer festivals organized weekly on the hill: a way to bid farewell to summer together with residents, tourists, and the many Tugliesi who have emigrated but return to their hometown for the holidays.

The heart of the festival is the Parco del Montegrappa, the most iconic high point in Tuglie: a shaded park atop the hill along Corso Cristoforo Vergine, featuring rest areas, trees, and one of the most expansive views of this corner of Salento. The Arrivederci Estate Festival returns on August 27, 2026, to the Parco del Montegrappa in Tuglie to close the Pro Loco Montegrappa summer season. As every year, the evening combines Salento's peasant cuisine with folk music in an open-air party atmosphere suitable for all ages.
The food stalls offer typical Tugliese dishes — from orecchiette with meatballs to roasted peppers, as well as panzarotti, pittule, and local desserts — while the square on the hill comes alive with dancing and entertainment until late in the evening.

The Arrivederci Estate Festival is the final appointment of the summer festival cycle that Pro Loco Montegrappa organizes every week at the Parco del Montegrappa, from July until the end of August. In 2026, the calendar opens on July 23 with the Benvenuta Estate Festival and continues with the Sagra te la Purpetta (July 30), the Knowledge Festival (August 6), the Sagra te lu Furese (August 13), and the evening dedicated to seafood fusilli (August 20), closing on August 27 with Arrivederci Estate.
The evening kicks off in the early evening, around 9:00 PM, with the opening of the food stalls accompanied by Salento folk music. The detailed program with artists and musical groups is usually announced by the Pro Loco in the weeks preceding the event and published on official social channels (Pro Loco Tuglie Facebook page) close to the end of August.
