A zero-impact concert in the Bosco Sonoro, between Rueglio and Valchiusa, accessible only on foot via the new Sentiero della Poiana trail.
In 2026, the Apolide Drops festival arrives for the first time in the Bosco Sonoro Diffuso, a location nestled in the woods at 778 meters above sea level between the municipalities of Rueglio and Valchiusa, in the Province of Turin. It is one of the most evocative stages of the entire program: a place that cannot be reached by car, but only on foot, by walking the new Sentiero della Poiana, the path that connects the dirt road climbing from Rueglio toward the Rifugio Bossola up to the Roussì ridge, where the natural megaphone of the Bosco Sonoro is located.
Apolide Drops is the "satellite format" of the Apolide Festival, established in 2022 and organized by the To Locals ETS association. Its philosophy is one of zero-impact culture, capable of inhabiting nature without consuming it, bringing music out of conventional venues and through the mountains, villages, and castles of the Canavese. The festival is divided into three strands: Aria (high-altitude events in woods and mountains), Terra (initiatives in local villages), and Scena (theater as a space for civic debate). The Bosco Sonoro stage fully belongs to the Aria spirit, inviting artists and the public to breathe in the mountains.
The day is not just a concert: it is a slow, immersive experience. The public reaches the venue via a guided hike, accompanied by the Consorzio Forestale del Canavese and supported by the GAL Valli del Canavese, along a path that crosses the woods of Valchiusa. Once arrived, the acoustic set takes place outdoors, in the silence of the mountains, where voices and instruments dialogue with the landscape. Surrounding the music, food and wine stands from the Operatori Turistici Valle Soana and the Giovani Vignaioli Canavesani, in collaboration with the Consorzio Turistico del Canavese, showcase the flavors of the territory.
Rueglio is a small municipality in the Valchiusa that, thanks to Apolide Drops, becomes for one day the gateway to a lesser-known natural landscape of the Canavese. The Bosco Sonoro stage is the perfect opportunity to discover a corner of the Alpine Piedmont far from the major tourist circuits, walking along a newly inaugurated trail and experiencing a cultural event that celebrates local communities, forest biodiversity, and environmental sustainability. More than just a concert, it is a collective ritual between culture and nature.
The June 20, 2026 stage marks the debut of Apolide Drops in the Bosco Sonoro Diffuso, a magical location at 778 meters above sea level between Rueglio and Valchiusa. Featuring Rachele Bastreghi, the voice and soul of Baustelle, accompanied by Mario Conte in an encounter between music and nature. The event is experienced entirely on foot: the public reaches the venue with a guided hike that inaugurates the new Sentiero della Poiana, accompanied by the Consorzio Forestale del Canavese and supported by the GAL Valli del Canavese. The day, free but with mandatory reservation and limited spots, confirms the zero-impact vocation of the Canavese festival, which brings singer-songwriter music into the heart of the Alpine Piedmont woods.
Event supported by GAL Valli del Canavese, as part of the fifth edition of Apolide Drops.
The acoustic set by Rachele Bastreghi (Baustelle) with Mario Conte in the Bosco Sonoro Diffuso, accessible only on foot along the new Sentiero della Poiana: a zero-impact concert at 778 meters above sea level, immersed in the woods between Rueglio and Valchiusa.
The Bosco Sonoro Diffuso is located at approximately 778 meters above sea level between the municipalities of Rueglio and Valchiusa (TO), in the Canavese. The venue is accessible only on foot: start from Rueglio along the dirt road that climbs toward the Rifugio Bossola, following the new Sentiero della Poiana up to the Roussì ridge. A guided hike organized by the Consorzio Forestale del Canavese is available, with mandatory registration.
Admission is free but requires mandatory reservation: spots are limited and registration for the approach trek is necessary to participate. It is recommended to book well in advance via the official website tolocals.com/apolide-drops.
As this is a high-altitude, outdoor event accessible only on foot, hiking boots, layered clothing, and a water bottle are essential. Food and wine options provided by Canavese producers are available on-site.
