Antella in Festa, the summer event that lights up the village
When June arrives, the village of Antella, in the Municipality of Bagno a Ripoli (Province of Florence, Tuscany), gets ready to celebrate. Antella in Festa is the event that officially kicks off the village's summer season: for five days, Piazza Peruzzi, the historic living room of Antella overlooking the Ubaldino Peruzzi monument, becomes the beating heart of a grand popular festival filled with music, shows, good food, and a great desire to be together.
A community festival promoted by local businesses
The event is conceived and organized by the Antella Natural Commercial Center (CCN "Vivere all'Antella"), the association that brings together the village's merchants and artisans, with the patronage of the Municipality of Bagno a Ripoli. It is a grassroots festival, born from the fabric of local shops and businesses, which is why it maintains a genuine and familiar soul: no top-down commercial formula, but an event built by the inhabitants for the inhabitants, open to anyone who wants to spend a few evenings in good company.
Music, shows, and entertainment for everyone
The program is designed to please all ages. It ranges from comedy theater shows to live concerts, from collective karaoke to DJ sets that turn the square into an open-air dance floor, as well as entertainment and baby dance for the little ones. The evenings alternate between entertainment and themed dinners, in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere that is the true hallmark of the festival.

The new addition: Antella in Cosplay
Starting in 2026, the festival expands to the nearby Giardini della Resistenza with Antella in Cosplay, the first edition of a festival dedicated to the world of anime, manga, comics, and pop culture. A day and a half of themed markets, entertainment, cosplay contests, and free-entry street food areas, bringing a breath of fresh air and attracting enthusiasts from outside the village.
Solidarity at the center
One of the distinctive features of Antella in Festa is its commitment to charity: the opening aperitif-dinner has a charitable purpose every year, with proceeds donated to non-profits and local associations dedicated to supporting people in need. In Antella, having fun and doing good go hand in hand.
Antella in Festa — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Antella in Festa takes place from Wednesday, June 3rd to Sunday, June 7th in Piazza Peruzzi, in the village of Antella in Bagno a Ripoli. This year the festival grows with an extra day and debuts Antella in Cosplay, a festival dedicated to anime and comics hosted at the Giardini della Resistenza. The usual ingredients are confirmed: live music, DJ sets, shows, street food, and charity dinners, blending solidarity and fun for all ages.

How to get there
By car: Antella is located a few kilometers from Florence, reachable via the SS222 Chiantigiana road or the local Bagno a Ripoli road network. By bus: the village is connected to Florence by suburban public transport lines. By train: the reference station is Florence, with a bus connection towards Bagno a Ripoli and Antella.
Admission
Access to the festival in Piazza Peruzzi is free; themed dinners and aperitif-dinners are paid events with a fixed price. Antella in Cosplay at the Giardini della Resistenza has free admission.
Tips
The evenings take place outdoors: bring comfortable clothing for the evening. For themed dinners, booking with the businesses of the Natural Commercial Center is recommended.
