The electronic music and club culture festival that turns Florence into an open-air dancefloor
Lattexplus Festival has become a staple of the Florentine summer and one of the most exciting fixtures in the Tuscan electronic music scene. Launched in 2018 as a project to promote club culture in the Tuscan capital, the festival has grown over the years into a widespread event that brings some of the biggest names on the international scene to the city, weaving together techno, house, Italo disco, Mediterranean grooves, and live performances.
For its ninth edition in 2026, Lattexplus moves beyond the single-event format, transforming into a series of dates running from late May through September. The philosophy remains unchanged: combining high-quality musical curation with the beauty of the surroundings, selecting stunning urban spaces as the backdrop for its nights.
The heart of the festival is the Cavea del Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, an open-air amphitheatre located on the roof of the Maggio complex, in the district near Parco delle Cascine. This space is complemented by the Anfiteatro delle Cascine "Ernesto De Pascale", nestled in the greenery of the city's largest urban park, which hosts the summer's headline date. The choice of iconic and evocative locations is an integral part of the festival's identity, presenting electronic music as a cultural experience rather than just club entertainment.
Lattexplus Festival takes place in Florence, the capital of Tuscany, and is part of the Estate Fiorentina (Florentine Summer) program, an initiative promoted by the Municipality of Florence that enlivens the city during the summer months with concerts, shows, and cultural activities. The administration's support confirms the festival's role as a key element of the city's cultural offering, capable of attracting a young audience and showcasing the Italian and European electronic scenes.
The festival's programming alternates live concerts by bands and projects that have made musical fusion their trademark with internationally acclaimed DJ sets. Over the years, the Lattexplus stage has hosted leading artists of the global electronic scene, confirming the festival's mission to build bridges between club culture and mainstream music, all within the exceptional urban setting of Florence.
For 2026, Lattexplus Festival returns in its most ambitious form: no longer a single event, but a summer calendar of three nights that brings together electronica, Mediterranean grooves, Italo disco, and live performances. The dates are spread from late spring through September, choosing two iconic landmarks of Florentine culture as the stage: the Cavea del Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and the Anfiteatro delle Cascine "Ernesto De Pascale".
The ninth edition confirms the festival's mission to combine major live acts with international DJ sets, featuring a lineup that ranges from the Mediterranean sound of Nu Genea to Italo disco and the most contemporary electronic music.
The Cavea del Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino is located in the Cascine area, reachable from the Florence Santa Maria Novella station in just a few minutes by tram (line T1, Cascine or Paolo Uccello stop). The Anfiteatro delle Cascine is located inside the Parco delle Cascine, which is also served by the tram.
Tickets for individual nights are available for online pre-sale on major ticketing platforms. We recommend booking in advance: some dates in previous editions have sold out.
The festival nights are spread throughout the summer, from late May to September, with doors generally opening at 7:00 PM.
