What is the Alta Felicità Festival
The Alta Felicità Festival is one of the most iconic and well-attended summer events in Piedmont. It takes place in Venaus, a small town in the Susa Valley (Province of Turin), and was born from the No TAV Movement as a gathering point for music, culture, environment, and civil engagement. For three days, a section of the valley is closed to traffic and transformed into a shared space featuring stages, trails, natural arenas, and campsites where visitors explore exclusively on foot.
A free and self-managed festival
The most distinctive feature of Alta Felicità is that it is completely free: there is no admission fee for concerts or activities, camping is free, and the event prioritizes accessibility. It is a self-managed festival, built from the ground up by volunteers, offering an alternative model of social interaction based on mutual care, sharing, and ecological sustainability.
Music, debates, and culture
The program blends concerts by Italian and international bands with debates, meetings, and book presentations focusing on current issues: the environment, ecological transition, human rights, technology, and democracy. Over the years, the Venaus stage has hosted legendary names in independent and singer-songwriter music, alongside prominent figures from the cultural and activist worlds. Beyond the music, the festival offers nature-based activities and moments of reflection, making Alta Felicità much more than just a concert series.

Festival Alta Felicità 2026 — la decima edizione
Per il 2026 il Festival Alta Felicità festeggia un traguardo importante: la decima edizione, in programma a Venaus (TO), in Val di Susa, da venerdì 24 a domenica 26 luglio 2026. Le date sono state annunciate ufficialmente dagli organizzatori, che promettono ancora una volta «tre giorni di musica, cultura e resistenza».
Come ogni anno, l'evento sarà completamente gratuito, con ingresso libero, campeggio senza costi e una porzione della valle chiusa al traffico e dedicata interamente al festival. Si camminerà tra palchi, arene naturali e spazi di incontro pensati per il dialogo e la convivialità.
Al momento dell'annuncio il programma dettagliato non è ancora stato pubblicato: la line-up musicale, gli ospiti dei dibattiti e gli orari saranno comunicati sul sito ufficiale altafelicita.org e sui canali social del festival nelle settimane che precedono l'evento.
