About Troop Tripe

When the Alpini of Concorezzo light up the stoves, Villa Zoja park fills with aromas and good cheer. The Trippa della Truppa degli Alpini is the gastronomic festival where the 'black hats' of the town bring their genuine cuisine to the table: tripe, of course, but also salamelle, fries, fried gnocco, and cured meats. A convivial and popular event, built on volunteerism and friendship, which every year enlivens the Concorezzo d'Estate programme in the heart of Brianza.

The Alpini at the Stoves

The Trippa della Truppa degli Alpini is one of the most delightful gastronomic festivals of the summer in Concorezzo, in the Province of Monza and Brianza. It is organized by the local Alpini Group, which brings the convivial and generous spirit typical of the 'black hats' to the Villa Zoja Park.

A Menu of Tradition

The signature dish is, of course, tripe, the queen of Lombard popular cuisine, accompanied by a hearty and genuine menu: salamelle, fries, fried gnocco, and cured meats. A simple and honest offering that tells the story of the region's gastronomic tradition and is enjoyed in company, at the outdoor tables in the park.

Alpini, Volunteerism, and Community

Like all Alpini initiatives, this festival is born from the volunteerism and spirit of service that characterizes the association. Cooking for the town is a way for the 'black hats' to come together and support their activities, in a blend of friendship, tradition, and commitment that is the hallmark of the Concorezzo group.

Part of Concorezzo d'Estate

The Trippa della Truppa is part of the Concorezzo d'Estate programme, the extensive series of events that enlivens Villa Zoja park from May to September with festivals, concerts, and shows. A delicious event that helps make Concorezzo's green spaces the beating heart of the town's summer.
