Summer lights up on the Acquedolci seafront

The Acquedolci Summer Fest is the event that kicks off the summer season in Acquedolci, a coastal town in the Metropolitan City of Messina, Sicily. The festival takes place along the Lungomare Buffone, the seaside promenade in the Buffone district that has become the heart of the town's summer life in recent years, overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Aeolian Islands on the horizon.

Three days of seaside celebrations

For an entire weekend, the seafront comes alive until late at night with music, entertainment, and moments of conviviality. The festival embraces the stretch of the promenade so intensely that local traffic is reorganized for the occasion: the Metropolitan City of Messina implements changes to traffic flow on the Provincial Road 162/Q to facilitate the influx of the public during the event evenings.

Acquedolci and the Nebrodi

Acquedolci is a small town nestled between the sea and the slopes of the Nebrodi Mountains, along the Tyrrhenian coast of Messina. Its beach and promenade make it a popular summer destination, and the Summer Fest represents one of the most cherished community gatherings, drawing visitors from nearby towns along the coast between Sant'Agata di Militello and Capo d'Orlando.
