Quality food, wine, and craftsmanship in the heart of Salassa Canavese
The Good Taste Fair is the premier food and wine event in Salassa, a small town in the Metropolitan City of Turin located in the heart of the Canavese region, in Piedmont. Now in its eighth edition, the fair transforms the village's historic center for an entire spring Sunday into a large open-air market, where high-quality gastronomy and excellent craftsmanship meet along the streets and squares.

Beyond the commercial aspect, the event offers a rich program of entertainment and tastings. Among the most anticipated highlights is the presence of the world champion of tiramisu, who delights the public with her famous version of the dessert. There is no shortage of roving magic shows, unusual tastings, and entertainment for all ages.
The fair also promotes the town's historical heritage: during the day, it is possible to visit the Tower of Salassa for free, one of the symbols of the village, thus combining the discovery of taste with that of local history.
After the break imposed by the pandemic, the Good Taste Fair has made a great comeback, confirming itself as one of the most cherished events in the Canavese spring calendar. Recent editions have recorded over 2,500 visitors, a testament to the public's affection for this celebration of flavors. The event is organized under the patronage of the Municipality of Salassa and is open to the public with free admission.
The 8th Good Taste Fair was held on Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, in the center of Salassa Canavese. The village came alive with stands of gastronomy, flowers, and crafts: cheeses, cured meats, olive oil, jams, spices, wine, beer, rice, honey, chocolate, biscuits, and pastries. Among the most anticipated attractions were the tasting of tiramisu prepared by a world champion and the opportunity to visit the Tower of Salassa for free. Admission was free.
Continuous hours from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Over 50 exhibitors of gastronomy (cheeses, cured meats, olive oil, jams, fruit, spices, wine, beer, rice, honey, chocolate, biscuits, pastries), floriculture, and excellent craftsmanship in the streets and squares of the center.
