«3 (+1) Days in the Heart of Abruzzo» is the flagship rally of the Club Fuoristrada Maiella Adventure, an association based in Miglianico, in the province of Chieti, that brings together 4x4 enthusiasts from all over Italy every year. The logistics base is the Green Village in Miglianico, located on Strada Comunale della Scuola, which serves as the meeting point, registration desk, and starting line for a journey that winds through the provinces of Chieti, Pescara, and L'Aquila.
Four stages across Abruzzo
The event spans four stages for a total length of approximately 550 km, excluding optional sections. The base route is mapped via a paper road book and is designed to be tackled by any off-road vehicle equipped with a low-range gearbox, from seasoned drivers to novices. Those seeking an adrenaline rush can challenge themselves with the technical variants, which are more demanding and require a winch and mud-terrain tires.

A federal and social event
The rally is part of the official Italian Off-Road Federation (FIF) calendar and is reserved for members: a valid FIF membership card is mandatory for participation. Beyond the sporting and technical aspect, «3 (+1) Days in the Heart of Abruzzo» is above all a social experience that combines a passion for off-roading with the slow discovery of the region's villages, nature, and flavors. Daily gastronomic stops and lunches organized by the club are an integral part of the adventure.
Miglianico and the surrounding area
Located among the hills of the Chieti province, just a few kilometers from the Adriatic coast, the Municipality of Miglianico is the ideal gateway to the Abruzzo hinterland. From here, crews head toward the mountain towns of inland Abruzzo, amidst the parks and natural areas that make the region one of the most beloved destinations for outdoor and off-road driving enthusiasts.

12th edition — May 30 / June 2, 2026
The twelfth edition of the Club Maiella Adventure off-road rally kicked off on Friday, May 30, 2026, departing from the Green Village in Miglianico at 9:00 AM, following morning registration. The program featured four days of driving through the heart of Abruzzo, concluding on June 2, 2026.

- June 1, 8:30 AM — departure from Barisciano (AQ)
- June 2, 8:30 AM — departure from Scoppito (AQ)
The total route of the four stages was approximately 550 km, excluding technical variant sections. The participation fee was 250 euros per person for the entire event, including daily gastronomic stops and scheduled lunches, with dinners and overnight stays at the participants' expense.

How to get there
The rally base is the Green Village in Miglianico (CH), on Strada Comunale della Scuola. By car: A14 motorway exit Ortona or Pescara Sud-Francavilla, then follow signs for Miglianico. Reference railway station: Chieti-Pescara.
Registration and fees
Participation is reserved for FIF members (membership card mandatory). The fee includes daily gastronomic stops and the lunches scheduled in the program; dinners and overnight stays are excluded and at the participants' expense. Participation for individual days is not available.
