A month of events featuring music, sports, art, and creativity dedicated to the new generations of Biella.
The Youth Festival is an event that the Municipality of Biella, in Piedmont, dedicates to the new generations: a widespread festival that enlivens the city for several weeks with events designed by and for young people. Born as a dynamic space for meeting, expression, and dialogue, the festival aims to make young people feel like active members of the community and protagonists in building a more inclusive and sustainable future.
The strength of the festival lies in its itinerant format, which brings events to the city's iconic locations: from the city center to Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto, and the Città Studi campus. The program alternates moments of pure fun with opportunities for training and reflection, involving schools, associations, and youth organizations from the Biella area.
The Youth Festival is multidisciplinary by vocation: it ranges from basketball, 5-a-side football, and volleyball tournaments to performances by emerging bands and local DJs, from workshops dedicated to the relationship between art and artificial intelligence to talks on social inclusion, sports, and youth entrepreneurship. A mix designed to give voice and space to local talent.
The event is promoted by a broad institutional and associative network: the Municipality and Province of Biella, the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Biella, the Youth Group of the Industrial Union, the Fondazione BIellezza, and youth organizations such as BiYoung ETS. A collective investment that confirms Biella's desire to place young people at the center of its cultural and social planning.
The second edition of the Youth Festival took place in Biella from May 29 to June 13, 2026, confirming the widespread calendar formula.
It opened on May 29 with the Drive In in Piazza Falcone, a 1950s-style outdoor cinema evening organized by BiYoung ETS. From June 8 to 11, it was time for the GDA – Student Art and Creativity Day, with workshops dedicated to art and artificial intelligence, a student parade in the city center, performances, and tournaments at Cittadellarte, and a live musical evening. The festival closed on June 13 with CONIFER 2026 at Città Studi.
Events take place in various locations in Biella: Piazza Falcone and the city center, Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto, and the Città Studi campus.
Biella can be reached by train (Biella San Paolo and Biella Chiavazza stations) and by car via the A4 Turin-Milan motorway, exiting at Carisio or Santhià, followed by a connection to Biella. Città Studi is located in the Vandorno area, north of the city center.
The festival events are designed to be accessible to young people; for some activities (particularly sports tournaments), free online registration may be required. It is recommended to check the Municipality of Biella's channels for the updated program.
