WOOD - Forest Party, May Day in the Nebrodi Mountains

WOOD - Forest Party is the annual event that brings the Contrada San Giovanni recreational area to life every May 1st. Located in San Marco d'Alunzio, a stunning medieval village in the province of Messina, the festival takes place in the heart of the Nebrodi Park. Organized by the Si Nasce Cultural Association, the event blends music, gastronomy, sports, and nature into a day designed for the whole family, fully immersed in the lush Sicilian mountains.

A day of music and nature

From morning until night, the area turns into a massive open-air stage: live concerts, DJ sets, and rhythms keep the crowd entertained until late, interspersed with moments of relaxation and conviviality. With its picnic spots, the Contrada San Giovanni area is the perfect place to spend May Day surrounded by the woods of the Nebrodi.

Street food and Sicilian flavors
