The Winter Party - A Night at the Castle is the winter gathering dedicated to motorcyclists held in Monastero Bormida, a small town in the Langa Astigiana in the province of Asti, in the heart of Piedmont. The event is organized by the Texas Hill Country Chapter Italian Member together with ASD THCC Friends, with the patronage of the Municipality of Monastero Bormida, and is open to everyone: bikers, motor enthusiasts, and curious visitors looking to spend an evening in good company.

An evening at the castle

The setting is the Castle of Monastero Bormida, an ancient Benedictine monastery founded around the year 1000 and transformed over the centuries into a fortified residence by the Del Carretto and Della Rovere families. Now owned by the municipality and home to a museum, the fortress with its bell tower offers an exceptional backdrop for a night of celebration. The "Winter Party" brings music, conviviality, and the jovial atmosphere typical of motorcycle rallies within its historic walls.

Food, music, and flowing beer

The program revolves around the three classic ingredients of a motorcycle party: live music, great food, and flowing beer. The organizers provide a range of services designed for the winter season:

• Live Music with bands and DJs to soundtrack the evening
• Food & Beer area with kitchen and plenty of beer
• Heated area for those wishing to stay overnight in sleeping bags
• Guarded parking for motorcycles

A rally open to everyone

Although it began as an initiative by the motorcycle chapter, the Winter Party is an event open to all, capable of attracting enthusiasts from across lower Piedmont and nearby Liguria. It is the winter version of the better-known summer Night Party that the same organizers have hosted at the castle for years, and it represents an opportunity to experience the Langa Astigiana even in the colder months, amidst human warmth, engines, and convivial tradition.
