Wagner Project Walk

A walk for everyone in the heart of Bassa Reggiana

The Wagner Project Walk is a non-competitive walking race held in Fabbrico, a municipality in the Bassa Reggiana area of the province of Reggio Emilia, in Emilia-Romagna. It is now a well-established event on the local running calendar, having surpassed its twenty-eighth edition over the years, attracting walkers and runners from all over the region.

The event is traditionally scheduled for November 1st, All Saints' Day, a date that makes it a pleasant opportunity to spend an autumn festive day outdoors. The start is scheduled for 9:15 AM from the center of Fabbrico.

Two routes through town and countryside

The event offers two distances designed to suit all fitness levels:

• 4.5 km — the shorter route, ideal for families, children, and those who prefer a leisurely stroll;
• 11 km — the more challenging route, suitable for those seeking a bit of a challenge and wanting to test their endurance and legs.

The routes wind through the streets of the town and the countryside of the Reggio Emilia plain, offering participants typical views of the Emilian rural landscape. As it is a non-competitive walk, there are no rankings or timing: the goal is to walk together, in company, and at your own pace.
