Volterra Art Week: contemporary art in the heart of Tuscany

Volterra Art Week is an event dedicated to contemporary art that brings the historic center of Volterra—an ancient Etruscan city in the Province of Pisa, Tuscany—to life. Launched in 2025 by Lojelo Art Gallery and the La Grande Bellezza ETS association, in collaboration with the Prompt Dsgn studio, the festival aims to bring the general public closer to the language of contemporary art, celebrating freedom of expression beyond any formal or institutional barriers.

A widespread exhibition across the city's iconic landmarks

The format of Volterra Art Week is that of a widespread exhibition: the works are not concentrated in a single venue but are distributed among some of the most evocative and history-rich locations in Volterra's center. The exhibitions thus intertwine contemporary language with the beauty and symbolic value of the city's historic spaces.
