A Rally That Tells the Story of Molise
"Passioni Storiche" is the vintage car and supercar rally that starts from Venafro, in the province of Isernia, and crosses the villages of Molise in a four-wheeled parade that combines engines, landscapes, and memory. More than just a motoring event, it is conceived as a "journey into memory": the historic cars become fragments of history capable of telling stories of people, dreams, and generations.
The Domenico Bertoni Memorial
The 2026 edition, the third, is dedicated to the 1st Domenico Bertoni Memorial, a journalist and storyteller of the territory originally from Sant'Angelo in Grotte and founder of the event. Bertoni had intuited that historic cars could unite communities and enhance the territory: the procession's passage through Sant'Angelo in Grotte, his hometown where he rests today, becomes a silent greeting and the most touching moment of the day.
An Itinerary Through the Villages of the Province of Isernia
The route connects Venafro (start), Isernia with its historic center, Castelpetroso, Sant'Angelo in Grotte, and Santa Maria del Molise, where the final greetings and Memorial awards ceremony take place. The event is sponsored by the Molise Region, the Province of Isernia, and the municipalities crossed.
Passioni Storiche — edition 2026
The third edition of "Passioni Storiche" took place on May 25, 2026, dedicated to the 1st Domenico Bertoni Memorial, founder of the event. From Venafro, the procession of vintage cars and supercars crossed the province of Isernia with a meaningful itinerary, culminating in a stop at Sant'Angelo in Grotte, Bertoni's hometown. The event, sponsored by the Molise Region, the Province of Isernia, and the involved municipalities, concluded in Santa Maria del Molise with the Memorial awards.

- 9:30 AM — Venafro (Corso Campano): checks, registrations, and welcome breakfast
- 11:00 AM — Isernia (historic center): stop in the provincial capital with exhibition of vintage vehicles
- 3:00 PM — Castelpetroso: parade through the regional landscapes
- 3:30 PM — Sant'Angelo in Grotte: stop in Domenico Bertoni's hometown
- 4:00 PM — Santa Maria del Molise (Ripa dei Forti): greetings, thanks, and Memorial awards ceremony
