The Vinschger Oktoberfest is the most anticipated autumn event in Prato allo Stelvio/Prad am Stilfserjoch, a municipality in the Vinschgau Valley in the province of Bolzano, in the heart of Trentino-Alto Adige. Every year, at the beginning of October, the local middle school gymnasium transforms into an authentic Bavarian-style Festhalle, where enthusiasm for beer and folk music captivates visitors of all ages.

The heart of the festival is the original Oktoberfest beer, served in steins alongside South Tyrolean culinary delights: freshly baked pretzels, sausages, pork knuckles, traditional mountain cuisine, and local desserts. On stage, a live band accompanies the evening with classic Bavarian and South Tyrolean party music, inviting guests to sing, dance, and toast together in a festive, convivial atmosphere.
