Lazio's wine and culinary excellence in the heart of Rome
VinoXRoma is the trade and conference event that transforms the heart of the Capital into a grand salon dedicated to wine and gastronomy every spring. Organized by the Rome Chamber of Commerce through its special agency Sviluppo e Territorio, in collaboration with the Lazio Region and Lazio Innova, the event promotes the region's viticultural and agri-food excellence by blending promotion, culture, innovation, and international reach.
The venue itself is a reason to attend: the Complesso Monumentale Pio Sodalizio dei Piceni, overlooking Piazza San Salvatore in Lauro, just a stone's throw from Piazza Navona and the Tiber River. The building's courtyard and historic halls host the exhibitors' stands, creating a refined atmosphere where wine discovery intertwines with the city's architectural beauty.
The 2026 edition was structured around three complementary thematic areas:
Each year, the event selects a curated group of companies from Lazio: wineries, distilleries, and food producers representing the region's diversity, from native grape varieties to local sparkling wines, contemporary rosés, oils, artisanal liqueurs, and traditional products. It is a precious opportunity to meet producers up close and tell the story of a modern Lazio wine scene that is increasingly focused on quality.
The central theme of 2026 was Italian cuisine as an intangible cultural heritage, featuring in-depth discussions and the presentation of awards dedicated to gastronomic excellence and the dialogue between cuisine and contemporary art. The program goes beyond simple tasting to highlight the deep bond between wine, food, and local identity.
Aimed at both enthusiasts and industry professionals, VinoXRoma has become a benchmark for the Roman oenological spring. The event confirms the role of the Municipality of Rome and the entire Lazio Region as the ideal stage for bringing together producers, restaurateurs, and the public in a city where wine culture is rooted in ancient history.
The sixth edition brought together 26 exhibitors from Lazio, including wineries, distilleries, and food producers, distributed across the Tasting Area, Cooking Show, and Conference Room of the Complesso dei Piceni. The 2026 theme, Italian cuisine as an intangible cultural heritage, guided the tastings, cooking shows, and discussions on innovation, sustainability, and internationalization.
The event was organized by the Rome Chamber of Commerce, the Lazio Region, and Lazio Innova, confirming its role as a spring showcase for Lazio wine in the heart of Rome.
During the two evenings, awards dedicated to excellence were presented, including the Quality First award (an initiative by Excellence Magazine) and the Galleria del Gusto award, dedicated to the dialogue between fine dining and contemporary art.
Friday, May 22, and Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The Complesso Monumentale Pio Sodalizio dei Piceni is located at Piazza San Salvatore in Lauro 15, in the historic center of Rome, near Piazza Navona. By metro, the most convenient stops are Spagna (Line A) or Barberini, followed by a walk or a bus ride towards Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Numerous bus lines serve the Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Lungotevere area.
Admission is ticketed; the 2026 edition ticket was priced at 20 euros, available online via the Ticketgate platform. The event takes place in the evening, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
We recommend purchasing tickets in advance and using public transport, given the central location and traffic restrictions in the historic center.
