Vien de Nus is a black grape variety that takes its name from the Aosta Valley location where it originates and is still cultivated: its name literally means "vine of Nus". Along with Petit Rouge, it is among the most widespread native red grape varieties in the Aosta Valley and forms the basis of some red wines from the regional DOC.
