The fair dedicated to eco-friendly and socially conscious living in Levico Terme
The Valsugana Sustainable and Solidarity Fair is the spring event in Levico Terme, in the province of Trento, that puts the environment, solidarity, and conscious consumption at the forefront. Organized by the L'Ortazzo APS association, the event takes place at the PalaLevico on Viale Lido, transforming the spa town of Valsugana for an entire weekend into a showcase of best practices for an environmentally and socially conscious lifestyle.
The heart of the fair lies in the eighty exhibitors animating the stands: organic farms, artisans, natural cosmetics producers, social cooperatives, and schools presenting their virtuous projects. Alongside stalls selling zero-kilometer products from Valsugana, Lagorai, and neighboring valleys, visitors will find local handicrafts, second-hand books, and an eco-friendly dining area to enjoy a break between conferences and workshops.
The program is rich and designed for all ages. Numerous workshops engage both adults and children, while conferences address themes such as fashion and environmental impact, sustainable mountain tourism, outdoor education, cohousing, agro-ecological supply chains, and zero-waste lifestyles, featuring experts and guest speakers. The swap parties—where clothing, seeds, and seedlings are exchanged for free—and creative workshops for children are also highly popular.
The fair is made possible by the work of dozens of volunteers, and admission is free for adults, families, and children. The goal is to connect producers and citizens directly, promoting the solidarity economy, fair trade, and local entities committed to a cleaner, more sustainable, and cohesive Valsugana. It is an opportunity to discover how small daily choices can contribute to a more environmentally friendly future.
The fourth edition of the Valsugana Sustainable and Solidarity Fair was held on May 9 and 10, 2026, at the PalaLevico in Levico Terme. With eighty exhibitors confirmed, including farms, artisans, and associations, the fair introduced the Wellness Oasis for the first time—an area dedicated to treatments and introspective experiences, such as reflexology, massage, meditation, and "suspended" treatments based on the gift economy.
The calendar of meetings with experts was extensive. On Saturday, May 9, discussions covered fashion and environmental impact with Stefano Bonaventura, the screening of the docufilm "Ayelén," and mountain tourism with Guido Trevisan. On Sunday, May 10, topics ranged from cohousing and communities to outdoor education, from the agro-ecological supply chain to plant relationships, and the zero-waste lifestyle.
There was no shortage of creative workshops for children, swap parties for exchanging clothing, seeds, and seedlings, and the eco-friendly dining area. Admission remained free for adults, families, and children.
Throughout the fair: 80 exhibitors, Wellness Oasis, swap parties, creative workshops for children, and eco-dining area.
The PalaLevico is located on Viale Lido in Levico Terme (TN), in the Valsugana valley. By car, it can be reached via the SS47 Valsugana road; by train, the Levico Terme station is served by the Trento-Bassano-Venice railway line (Valsugana Railway).
The fair is open on Saturday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Admission is free for everyone. An eco-friendly dining area is available for lunch breaks.
Organized by L'Ortazzo APS. The complete program of conferences and workshops is available on the official event website.
