The youth women's cycling stage race in the Giudicarie valleys, with a grand finale in Tione di Trento
The Tre Giorni Giudicarie Dolomiti stands as one of Italy's leading events for youth women's cycling. Organized by the Società Ciclistica Storo under the leadership of president Andrea Malcotti, this stage race unfolds over three days across the Giudicarie valleys in Trentino-Alto Adige, gathering the finest athletes in the Donne Juniores (17-18 years), Allieve (15-16 years), and Esordienti (13-14 years) categories.
The third and decisive stage, the Coppa Giudicarie Centrali, takes place in the municipality of Tione di Trento, with the start and finish line located in Sesena, in the heart of the Busa di Tione. This is the highlight of the event: the road race winds through the neighboring municipalities of Tre Ville and Borgo Lares with specific routes for each category, awarding provincial road cycling titles. The Tione race is often the deciding factor for the general classification, with rankings fiercely contested until the very last point.
The event features twelve competitive races across the three days. Three distinctive jerseys are awarded for each category:
The full program includes three main events: the Notturna Castel Romano in Creto (a night circuit featuring scratch and points races), the Crono Idroland (an individual time trial in the Baitoni area and the Storo countryside), and finally the Coppa Giudicarie Centrali in Tione di Trento.
The race showcases the stunning landscapes of the Giudicarie and the Brenta Dolomites, drawing hundreds of young cyclists from across Italy to Tione di Trento, with an increasingly international reach. It is a well-established fixture on the federal calendar that seamlessly blends sport, regional promotion, and a passion for road cycling.
The fifth edition of the Tre Giorni Giudicarie Dolomiti was held from June 26 to 28, 2026, returning to an international scale. The program opened on Friday, June 26, with the Notturna Castel Romano in Creto, continued on Saturday, June 27, with the Crono Idroland (an individual time trial in the Baitoni area and the Storo countryside), and concluded on Sunday, June 28, with the Coppa Giudicarie Centrali, with start and finish in the Sesena area of Tione di Trento.
The final stage passed through the territories of Tre Ville and Borgo Lares. In the general classification, Matilde Rossignoli (Bft Burzoni VO2 Team Pink), born in 2008 in Verona, defended her light blue leader's jersey, finishing with 100 points—just one ahead of Maddalena Pascut (Team Wilier Breganze), who won the final race in Tione.
Tione di Trento is accessible by car via the SS237 del Caffaro road. By train, the nearest station is Trento, which is connected to the Giudicarie valleys by Trentino Trasporti bus lines.
The event takes place on public roads and circuits; spectating is free of charge. The final stage starts from the Sesena area in Tione di Trento.
