The granfondo of dreams

The Maratona dles Dolomites – Enel is the race that every amateur cyclist dreams of competing in at least once in their life. It takes place on the first Sunday of July and attracts thousands of participants, selected by lottery due to enormous demand. The route winds through the legendary passes of the Dolomites, also crossing Arabba and Passo Campolongo, both within the municipality of Livinallongo del Col di Lana, in the province of Belluno.

Three routes, one challenge

The event offers three routes of varying difficulty:

• Maratona Route — approximately 138 km, the complete challenge
• Middle Route — approximately 106 km
• Sellaronda Route — approximately 55 km, the classic loop of the four Sella passes

All routes take place on roads closed to traffic, giving participants the thrill of cycling among the peaks without cars.

The Maratona dles Dolomites is also famous for its social commitment: each edition chooses a strong value-based theme. An event that blends the passion for cycling, the beauty of the Dolomite landscape — a UNESCO World Heritage site — and a message to the world, making Arabba and Livinallongo del Col di Lana a crossroads of the great cycling tourism celebration of the Dolomites.
