About Bike & Wine
Cycling through vineyards and trails
Born from the collaboration between the Municipalities of Saint-Christophe and Roisan, in the Province of Aosta, the event Sentieri di Vino e di Ruote – Bike & Wine: a day that blends outdoor sports, discovery of the territory and local food and wine excellences. The initiative accompanies the inauguration of the new mountain bike trails connecting the two Municipalities, enhancing a hilly territory overlooking the Aosta basin.
A guided excursion
The heart of the event is a guided mountain bike excursion along the Saint-Christophe routes, accompanied by guides from the Aosta Valley. Along the route, there will be stops dedicated to wine tasting and typical products, combining physical activity with local culture.
Sport and wine tourism
Bike & Wine is designed for cycling enthusiasts and those who love wine tourism: a format that tells the story of the Aosta Valley through its trails and flavors, from mountain viticulture to alpine gastronomy. The event contributes to promoting the shared hiking network between Saint-Christophe and Roisan.
Bike & Wine — edition 2026
The inaugural edition of Sentieri di Vino e di Ruote – Bike & Wine takes place on May 30, 2026, marking the official opening of the new MTB trails connecting Saint-Christophe and Roisan. The program includes a guided mountain bike excursion, with stops dedicated to tasting local wines and typical products. An event celebrating the encounter between sport, landscape, and Aosta Valley food and wine.

How to get there
Saint-Christophe borders Aosta and is easily reachable from the A5 motorway (Aosta exit) and the SS26 state road. Aosta train station is a few minutes away.
Participation
The excursion is guided and requires a mountain bike. Early registration with the organization is recommended. Check the participation methods and fees on the official channels of the Municipalities of Saint-Christophe and Roisan.
