The Fiavè Tractor Rally

The Fiavè Tractor Rally is an event dedicated to the world of agricultural machinery and rural tradition, held in the municipality of Fiavè, in the heart of the Giudicarie Esteriori, in Trentino-Alto Adige. Established in 2024 by the ANA Gruppo Alpini Fiavè, the event has grown year by year to become a staple of the spring season on the plateau, attracting enthusiasts, farmers, and families from all over the Province of Trento.

Where it takes place: the Fiavè Peat Bog

The rally is set in the Fiavè Peat Bog (Loc. Rudel Torbiera), a natural environment of extraordinary value. This wetland, the ancient bed of Lake Carera formed about 14,000 years ago, houses the famous Fiavè pile-dwelling site, included since 2011 in the UNESCO World Heritage list along with the prehistoric pile dwellings of the Alpine arc. Hearing the engines roar in a place so rich in history and nature gives the event a unique charm.

The day's program

The event spans an entire day, from the early morning until late afternoon. The typical program includes:

• 9:00 AM — Gathering and assembly of tractors in the Peat Bog
• 12:30 PM — Alpine-style lunch with Trentino culinary specialties
• 2:30 PM — Timed tractor skill trial
• 3:30 PM — Parade of vehicles through the village streets
• 4:30 PM — Skill trial finals and awards ceremony

A community event

At the heart of the event is the community spirit typical of the Alpine groups: volunteers, farmers, and enthusiasts come together to share their passion for engines and the rural roots of the territory. The alpine lunch, prepared by the ANA volunteers, is one of the most anticipated moments, while the parade along the streets of Fiavè involves the entire village. The timed skill trial adds a touch of healthy competition, testing the drivers' dexterity through precision maneuvers and obstacle courses.
