A festival that tells the story of valley life

The Tractor and Forestry Machinery Rally in Roburent is one of the most cherished events of the summer on the Monregalese plateau, in the province of Cuneo, Piedmont. Established in 2022, it has quickly become a staple event celebrating rural culture and the deep bond between this mountain village and the work of the fields and woods. Vintage tractors, modern machinery, forestry equipment, and a great deal of passion gather at the municipal sports field, which is transformed for the day into a large open-air exhibition.

The parade and blessing of the machines

The highlight of the day is the tractor parade through the village streets: a noisy and colorful procession that attracts numerous participants every year, both in terms of spectators and agricultural and forestry vehicles. At the end of the parade, the traditional blessing of the machines takes place, a moment that blends festive spirit with the religious and community traditions typical of Piedmontese village festivals. The event concludes with a convivial lunch that brings together tractor owners, families, and visitors around the table.

The twinning with Perlo

Starting in 2026, the Roburent rally is linked by a twinning with the Pro Loco of Perlo, which organizes its own tractor event in mid-August. This initiative, promoted by both Pro Loco associations with the support of their respective municipalities, aims to unite the two valleys and strengthen the agricultural and forestry identity of the territory. For machinery enthusiasts, it is an opportunity to experience two complementary events just a few weeks apart.

An event for all ages

The Tractor Rally is not just for professionals: it is a popular festival open to everyone, where children can admire the large machines up close and adults can rediscover the rural traditions of the Cuneo area. The event is organized by the Pro Loco Roburent with the patronage of the Municipality of Roburent, and is part of a rich summer calendar featuring dance evenings, gastronomic dinners, cultural meetings, and sporting events.
