The Torchiagina Gastronomic Week is one of the oldest and most beloved summer festivals in Assisi (province of Perugia). It takes place in Torchiagina, a hamlet of the Municipality of Assisi, and is organized by the Pro Loco of Torchiagina. The signature dish, which gives it the popular name "Roasted Goose Festival", is precisely roasted goose, prepared according to local tradition.
Typical Cuisine, Dancing, and Fun
For over a week, the stands offer typical Umbrian cuisine with roasted goose as the star. Accompanying the dinners are dancing evenings with orchestras, a play area dedicated to the little ones, and traditional popular games. The unmissable Loka pub, the evening meeting point of the festival, is also present.

The 55th Edition (2026)
From July 31 to August 9, 2026, Torchiagina celebrates the 55th Torchiagina Gastronomic Week, the historic Roasted Goose Festival. The house specialty is roasted goose, the star of a typical Umbrian cuisine menu served every evening by the Pro Loco stands.
The festival offers dancing evenings, a play area for children, traditional popular games, and the Loka pub, over ten days of conviviality in the heart of the Assisi summer.

The 2026 event is structured over ten days (July 31 - August 9) as follows:
