Crafts, zero-km products and slow tourism at the Mulino Park of Borgo Ampiano
In the hamlet of Borgo Ampiano, in Pinzano al Tagliamento, the Mulino Park becomes the heart of a celebration dedicated to local crafts and flavors once a year. Il Mercato del Borgo, now in its fifth edition, is a one-day event that combines tradition, sustainability, and slow tourism, promoting local productions in a charming natural setting along the Tagliamento river.
The protagonists are the over 50 stands featuring creative crafts, hobbies, and zero-km agricultural products: unique handmade items, local produce, and gastronomic specialties such as typical dishes and "Birra di Meni". The refreshment area offers food and wine tastings that showcase the best of Friulian gastronomy.
Il Mercato del Borgo is not just about shopping: the program includes workshops for adults and children, cycling excursions, and kayak activities on the river, offering something for all ages. It's a way to discover the area of Pinzano al Tagliamento with a focus on gentle tourism and environmental appreciation.
The result of the work of local associations and the Pro Loco, with the support of the Municipality of Pinzano al Tagliamento, the event has become an anticipated appointment in just a few years for those seeking authentic crafts, genuine products, and a day outdoors in the green Val d'Arzino and Tagliamento region.
