The Romantic Night in the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy is a national event that, on the night closest to the summer solstice, lights up dozens of Italian villages with music, soft lighting, and moments dedicated to love. The Municipality of Neive, a jewel of the Langhe in the province of Cuneo and a proud member of the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy circuit, participates with enthusiasm in this celebration that unites the entire Piedmont region and the whole peninsula.

A village to discover

Perched on a hill surrounded by Barbaresco, Moscato, and Dolcetto vineyards, Neive is one of the four "Barbaresco villages" and preserves a medieval historic center of rare harmony, made of cobblestone alleys, noble palaces, and views over the UNESCO-listed hills. During the Romantic Night, the streets and squares of the village become the beating heart of the festival, in a journey that weaves together culture, landscape, and Langhe food and wine.

Music and solidarity

The 2026 edition takes place on Saturday, June 20th and features a special guest: the group Mistral, a band formed over thirty years ago right here in Neive. The band will perform a concert of singer-songwriter music, with a setlist alternating between classic and recent tracks, built around the power of storytelling and lyrics. The evening is part of the "Mistral for AIL 2026" tour, supporting the Italian Association against Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma (Cuneo section, named after Paolo Rubino): admission is free, with voluntary donations collected for research and the hospitals of Cuneo and Verduno.
