About The Phair

The Phair is a fair dedicated to contemporary and fine art photography that every spring transforms the OGR in Turin into an international showcase. In the Sala Fucine, Italian and European galleries present historical masters and new research, ranging from auteur images and fashion photography to curated projects. It is a well-established event for collectors, enthusiasts, and curious visitors alike, set in the heart of a repurposed industrial area that has become a symbol of Turin's culture and innovation.

A fair entirely dedicated to photography

The Phair is a fine art photography fair held in Turin at the OGR – Officine Grandi Riparazioni, in the evocative Sala Fucine on Corso Castelfidardo 22. Founded in 2019 and organized by The Others Srl, the event has quickly established itself as one of the most anticipated dates on the cultural calendar of the Piedmontese capital, standing alongside Turin's major art weeks.

The format is clear and refined: an exhibition path that brings together Italian and international galleries, each with a booth dedicated exclusively to photography. It moves from historical masters to the most contemporary research, in a continuous dialogue between auteur imagery, experimentation, and the market.

Galleries and artists

The 2026 edition, the seventh, brought together 42 Italian and European galleries, with participants from France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Montenegro, and Sweden alongside the most recognized Italian names. Featured galleries include Photo & Contemporary from Turin, Ira Leonis from Arles, Deodato Arte from Milan, and Jaeger Art from Berlin, alongside local Turin institutions like Biasutti & Biasutti and Giorgio Persano.

Works by celebrated photographers such as Giovanni Gastel, Françoise Huguier, Marco Glaviano, and Michelangelo Di Battista are on display, in a journey that spans different generations and languages.

The 2026 theme: fashion photography

The common thread of the seventh edition was the dialogue between art, fashion, and pop culture: fashion photography was presented as an autonomous artistic language and an integral part of contemporary cultural heritage. Alongside the exhibition, the fair offered a Talks Program focused on photographic collecting, featuring public meetings between artists, curators, and collectors.

The OGR, a unique industrial setting

The choice of the Sala Fucine at the OGR is no coincidence: the ancient industrial spaces, with their impressive heights, controlled lighting, and vast volumes, allow for unconventional setups and best showcase the exhibited works. The restoration of the Officine Grandi Riparazioni is now a symbol of the cultural transformation of Turin, a city in the Province of Turin and the capital of Piedmont.

Who it is for

  • Collectors and fine art photography enthusiasts
  • Curators, gallerists, and industry professionals
  • Visitors and tourists curious to discover the international photography scene
